About CURIOCITY

The educational entertainment center, which has no analogues in the Baltic States, has been created for families raising children aged 1-13 and for groups of schools and kindergartens. The spaces of the educational center, which create the impression of a multifunctional city, integrate playful, educational activities and active entertainment, create conditions for children to imitate real-life situations, get acquainted with the world, natural phenomena, various professional activities and fields of science.

Culinary Studio

What can you cook here?

As a professional and serious chef, you can make healthy and delicious snacks. Immerse yourself in the culinary world of miracles and make the most beautiful characters using marshmallows, biscuits and fruits. Activities in the Culinary Studio are free of charge on Saturdays. You can celebrate your birthday here.

What will you learn?

You will learn about the real kitchen adapted for children, professional cooking utensils, tools, real food products and the chef’s uniform. With an apron and a large chef’s hat, gain unforgettable experience and learn to enjoy cooking. Get to know herbs used in cooking. We will tell you about how to prepare for cooking in the kitchen, about table etiquette, serving food, and what the knife and fork say about you.

Curiosity Lab

What scientific activities await here?

You can take part in various scientific experiments. Get to know the world of a true scientist. Activities in the Curiosity Lab are free of charge on Saturdays. You can celebrate your birthday here.

What will you learn?

You will learn about the chemicals, how they react with each other and affect each other; what the electrical circuit is; how volcanoes, giant elephant toothpaste or artificial snow came about; how balloons self-inflate; how the magic colourful lava erupts and many other scientific curiosities.

Colour space

What colours can you experience here?

You can rotate the colour wheel and see the changes in colours when they are mixed, put together a light mosaic, become a lighting designer, draw on the wall, create masterpieces on the light table and slide down the rainbow.

What will you learn here?

You will learn why the world is so colourful, what colour is, why we need colours, how colours can be combined, how animals see colours, what the rainbow is, and if you can climb on it, and many more interesting things about colours.

Space of forces of nature

What energising things can you experience here?

You can produce electricity by blowing wind or using solar light, build bridges or towers from magnets and test their magic properties, and even touch a flashing ball!

What will you learn here?

You will learn how to use solar, water, wind and geothermal power, what magnet is, why a magnet attracts metal objects without even touching them and about the largest magnet in the world, how to use a compass, how to use the sun, stars and other natural objects to find your way, and what you should do during thunder and lightning!

Human space

What interesting things can you experience here?

You can put on a surgeon’s uniform and perform surgery, become an ambulance crew member, put together a human skeleton puzzle, take your body temperature with the help of a thermal imaging device, listen to the sounds of the human body and your heartbeat, and inspect a nose, an eye or an ear enlarged more than 6 times!

What will you learn here?

You will see how wonderful the human body is, what it consists of and how it works, how to give first aid in case of an emergency, why the doctor needs instruments, and many more interesting things about yourself.

Puzzle space

What ingenious things can you experience here?

You can go on secret agent missions, cross a laser beam maze obstacle course, solve complicated puzzles, decipher coded messages, tap telephone calls, identify footprints and fingerprints, draw police sketches, conduct searches with a metal detector, search luggage and perform other secret tasks!

What will you learn here?

You will learn about the secret codes that agents use, how to solve logical tasks and puzzles, look for associations, how to be vigilant and not disclose your personal information to strangers.

Emotion space

What pleasant things can you experience here?

You can light a light bulb in the friendship arch, relax by embracing a glass bubble pipe, destroy bad emotions in the machine for release of emotions, play with multi-colour lit sensory shapes and rest in calming oases.

What will you learn here?

You will learn what emotions are and what emotions we can experience, how emotions affect you and the people around you, and how to recognise, understand and control emotions.

City hero space

What dynamic things can you experience here?

You can see what it is like to be a fire-fighter, slide down the firefighter pole, and save a cat from a burning house. You can be a policeman wearing a special uniform and a cap, to drive a police car and call another police team for a backup. You can distribute the country’s budget, plan your shopping according to your wishes and needs. You can navigate a two-deck ship, select weather conditions, give instructions to the crew, raise a flag, tie boat knots, put a world map puzzle, produce electricity and activate ship’s alert lights by riding a bike!

What will you learn here?

You will learn how important and interesting the fire-fighter’s work is, what to do in case of a fire, what the police slogan “defend-protect-help” means, how the tax money is used, how to fight shadow economy, how to use a map, about different types of relief, what different parts of a ship are called, and what members of a ship crew are!

In an enclosed, planetarium-like space you will get to know planet Earth, its satellite Moon and other planets of the solar system, to build your own constellations and watch how time changes through different time zones.

You will learn about the planets of the solar system, their movement, about the Moon, the stars, changes of the time of the day, time zones and many more interesting things about the universe.

Construction and design space

What constructive things can you experience here?

You can continue building a house that has been already started, climb scaffolding, lay bricks, dig with an excavator, design home exterior and interior, arrange furniture, hang curtains and pictures, and build your own structures from gigantic LEGO blocks.

You can learn how construction is organised, how to create a cosy home environment, you will learn about historical bricklaying techniques and even what to do in the event of an earthquake.

Farm space

What farming things can you experience here?

You can visit a barn and get to know more about domestic birds and animals, stroke them and listen to their voices, get inside a beehive, examine the life in an anthill through a magnifying glass, do real farm work: plant and water vegetables, harvest and even sell the harvested crops at the market, using the net return to the tree house to relax after all that work or slide down from the tree!

You will learn what fun it is to work on a farm, how to water, weed and harvest crops; you will learn about domestic birds and animals and how useful they are to people; you will learn about the life of ants and bees, about trees and how to identify them.

What tasty things can you experience here?

You can be a professional and serious chef, a waiter or a restaurant guest, prepare a menu, make a healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner, and after a hearty meal cross an obstacle course above the burning lava of the volcano!

You will learn what to eat so that you feel good and be healthy, what useful and useless calories are, what added sugar and natural sugar are, how much sugar should be taken per day, how to lay a table and how to behave nicely at the table, and why one day a dormant volcano erupts.
